Introduction Message for SH Room
When we started this net shop, we thought of our desire to spread beauty and elegance of words quoted from Bible and traditional Japanese art, Calligraphy to the end of the world through internet this is one of good ways to contribute for world peace. Everyone wants this world to be peaceful, but as matter of fact things do not go well peacefully, war breaks out somewhere in the world always. Why? Because many people in the world do not know true love provided by Jesus Christ. Calligraphy artist Sakue Yamashita is not Christian but she enjoys writing words quoted from Bible because they sound beautiful and she feels peaceful whenever she writes them.

Here is the world of Japanese art craft, calligraphy. Calligraphy (Shodo) is one of the most popular traditional fine art of Japan that has 1300 years of history. Calligraphic works are appreciated not less than products of painting. This kind of the fine arts possesses also philosophical sense. In the simplest understanding of the calligraphy is an art to write beautifully. The master creates a work by bamboo brush and inks on the rice paper(can be used for only frame that is made of wood or vinyl) or shikishi (square pasteboard).
Calligraphy written on shikishi is set in a genuine Japanese style wall tapestry. Natural bamboo or natural reeds tapestry frames craftsman who became rare now. So frames we use are quasi bamboo or reed, or woven cloth 、and Washi (Japanese paper). But they are still tasteful.
Tapestry with Japanese traditional art craft is very fine and unique gifts for Wedding party and various Happy events. But we accept words quoted from Bible, your favorite words, poetry, President’s words, etc. But, please be notified that in order to keep beauty and elegance of calligraphy, your favorite words should be as short as possible. All items we provide are original and written by professional calligrapher one by one. And items are attached with explanation.
Profile of calligraphic artist： Sakue Yamashita, (Seifuu :artist name) She has about 50 years of calligraphic carrier. She lives with her husband, daughter & grandchild. She won 7 DANI degree of awarded by the Ministry of Education , Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. 7 Dan degree is comparable to PhD in academic world. Her final purpose is to spread beauty & elegance of calligraphy to peoples of all over the world.

I have not mentioned of my health condition, but at this time I have to confess the reason that I retired from my last job as an Econ specialist at Consulate General in Sapporo 3 years ago was that I was fighting with Pekinsons symdrome that came from after effect of stroke I had 9 years ago and I am still fighting with this disease, 2 days ago I visited new doctor and he told me to check my condition, medicine I am taking now and rehabilitation excercise is appropriate or not. For this reason I have to take sick leave but my wife Chieko will take care of this room while I am in the hospital, so please visit SH room and pray for my quick recovery. Probably life in the hopital will be about one month or less. Thank you very much for showing interest in our ministry of spreading love of Jesus through tradinal Japanese art of calligraphy combined with words quoted from the Bible.
